Monchique

Sotavento

Faro - Visit the capital of the Algarve and see the Old Town centre. Drive over to Olhao, a city built under Arab influences with a visit to the waterfront markets and old quarter. Time at leisure for lunch. 

Tavira – Visit the old castle ruins, Santa Maria do Castelo church and the famous IV century Roman bridge. Return to your hotel.

Spend a memorable day cruising up the Guadiana River, between Portugal and Spain. Anchor off at a small village to enjoy a barbecue lunch with wine and some time for swimming. On the return journey, dance in the saloon bar or sunbathe on deck.

Loule Market

Loule - The busiest inland town, where you can stroll around the narrow streets and visit the Medieval Castle and city wall. Lisbon – A legendary city with over 20 centuries of history and capital of Portugal since 1255. You will be able to visit the “Queen of the Tagus River”, driving over the 25th April suspension bridge and admire the majestic statue of Christ the King before visiting the Jeronimos Monastery, the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower. Free time for shopping and lunch in the city centre.

Sunday - Departure from the Algarve to Lisbon. Arrival at Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, after crossing the bridge over the Tagus River. Visit Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery and the Monument of the Discoveries. Proceed to Cascais and Sintra. Time for lunch (not included). Sintra and its palaces are surrounded by a protected fauna and flora. Overnight in a 4 star hotel in Lisbon.

Optional night in a typical Fado restaurant.
Monday - After breakfast included in the hotel, walking guided tour of ALFAMA, one of the oldest quarters of Lisbon. Free time for shopping and lunch. In the afternoon, return to the Algarve.

Sunday - Departure from the Algarve, driving through the magnificent city of Seville, capital of Andalucia, towards the magnificent coastline and resort area of Costa del Sol, passing through Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Mijas, visit this picturesque dominating splendid views of the sea, which features an authentic Andalusian appearance. Free time to enjoy a ride on the well known donkey taxis, one of the best images of Costa del Sol. Drive to Granada with overnight and dinner (included) in a centrally located 3 star hotel.
Monday - Granada Capital of the Moorish Spain in the 13th century, is considered a World Heritage Site, due to the splendor of its monuments. Guided visit of the Alhambra (included), a medieval Arab palace and the Generalife gardens of the Moorish Kings, followed by a walking tour of the Old Moorish quarter of El Albaicín, with free time for lunch and shopping. Overnight and dinner (included) . A Flamenco show (not included) is an option for the evening.
Tuesday - Guided visit tour of Cordoba and free visit of the Mosque (entrance fee not included), a Muslim temple built in 793 and the old Jewish quarter. Free time for lunch and shopping. After lunch, return to the Algarve.
